Air disinfection & air purification systems technologyAir Disinfection: Introducing the T-800 UV Disinfection Robot

Air Purification Technology | Surface Disinfection | Germicidal Irradiation | Automatic Air Sanitisers

The T-800 from Hunter UV is a UV disinfection robot that kills 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and pathogens – including the coronavirus.

Originally developed for use in hospitals, the recent pandemic has highlighted a need for ultra-violet disinfection in all places people go.

With a 360-degree disinfection radius, the T-800 is able to sterilise any indoor space within minutes to laboratory standards.

How does it work?

Offering both air disinfection and surface disinfection at the same time, the T-800 allows you to build UV disinfection into regular cleaning routines.

The science behind the T-800.

Why is UV air disinfection so important?

Air Disinfection - Destroy Airborne PathogensInfectious disease pathogens and harmful bacteria are transmitted via the air we breathe and the surfaces we touch.

The two most common ways that viruses and bacteria are transmitted within a public or work environment are:

Airborne Transmission: Particles are transferred from person-to-person when an infected person talks, coughs, sneezes, sings or even breathes and an as yet uninfected person breathes them in. Airborne transmission is extremely difficult to avoid when an infected person shares space with healthy people. Masks and face coverings do not prevent airborne transmission, only reduce its likelihood, lessening the radius and directions in which particles are spread by breath.

Surface Exposure:  Bacteria and viruses can pass from one person to another when a person touches their face shortly after touching a surface that has recently been contaminated. Surface transmission is more easily prevented than airborne transmission, by safety precautions such as wearing face coverings, washing hands regularly and avoiding touching the face.

What is UV-C?

UV-C is a type of ultra-violet light. Like visible light, radiowaves and x-rays, UV light is a form of electromagnetic radiation.

Trusted and recommended, the T-800 is a wheelable unit, that is moved into location and operated remotely using a Smart app.

Once in place, the robot operates a cycle emitting powerful UV-C light from 9 vertical light bars.

UV-C is extremely harmful to micro-organisms even in low doses, killing 99.99% of bacteria and disease pathogens it encounters. Therefore UV-C is highly effective for air disinfection.

The Cleaning Procedure

Once delivered, the T-800 has a simple four-step cleaning process:

  1. Placement
  2. Set-Up
  3. Cycle
  4. Next Area

The T-800 can disinfect all of the air in an area within minutes.

Ideal for multi-room environments, the T-800 can be moved from room to room to complete its cleaning cycle.

Due to the high power of the UV light, no people or animals can be present in the area during cleaning.

Upon delivery of the T-800, the Hunter UV team will provide full safety training to any person responsible for operating the robot.

A specialist will assess your environment and show you how to program the optimal cleaning cycle for your needs.
